Writing Tutor for Adults

If you’re in search of a writing tutor for adults, then first let me commend you on taking the first step to improve your writing game.

Writing is a skill, so a large part of becoming a good writer is having a growth mindset and an open attitude of learning.

There is no shame in your current writing skill level, and there is no reason to blame yourself or beat yourself up for not being further along in your writing ability as an adult.

All that matters is that you desire to learn, and that you make an effort to improve!

Writing Tutor for Adults Explains His Approach

I have taught children, adolescents, and adults, both formally and informally.

As a writing tutor for adults, it’s important to first understand two key things: the student’s current skill level, and the student’s desired goals.

With a clear understanding of the beginning and ending points, we can craft the most effective plan for improving your current skill level so that it matches your desired goal.

Although not every student has a real-life project in the works, when that is the case, I find it to be one of the best opportunities to teach good writing.

I can assess the student’s first draft effort to gain a clear understanding of his current skill.

This will serve as a roadmap to focus on the key areas that need the most improvement first.
